I have a bunch of coins that are over 8.5 hours old in my wallet. My wallet has been open for 20 hours now and nothing is showing staked. I've tried disabling and re-enabling staking, and re-scanning the wallet- my coins still show zero being staked. Help?

Do you have connections in the wallet? Are you on the correct block? What does it say when you hover your mouse of the staking icon on the lower right corner?

I have 20 connections, I'm on the current block, synced.

Hovering over the Staking coin it shows "in sync and staking" but the main overview says 0 VRC is staking out of my spendable balance.

How many hours till stake does it say? Are you keeping your wallet open all the time and are you allowing your computer to sleep?

I have the same problem - it says at the bottom right 'staking' bu zero in staking balance.
If I mouse over 'staking' in bottom right it says:
In sync and staking....
Min. earnable matured interest: 99%
Block number 1842428
Expected time to earn interest: 21 days

do I have to wait the 21 days before the staking balance shows?

Okay, so it will depend on the balance of VeriCoin you hold. Currently you will need 15-20k VeriCoin to gain one VeriCoin a day in interest. This is based on the current network interest rate which can go as low as 2%. That seems like a lot but this is based on real world use and keeping inflation to a minimum.

You will need to build coinage on your coins, with 52 it will take awhile. If you hover your mouse over the staking icon(circle and cross) it will tell you time to interest. With VeriCoin we are using a real world interest rate.

Well, I have 99.9999 Vericoins in my wallet. Starting 07/28/17. Most of the time the computer has been on, never sleeping, only short timeouts for Windows Update reasons and the like. Accordingly the wallet was always unlocked and apparently staking.
In the beginning the staking icon said: Expected time to earn interest: 13 days. After some time (actually ca. 3 weeks) it said 1 day. This it has been saying now for weeks.
In the Balance section: Always 0 VRC staking.
What's wrong?
