Ahh, I see. Its basically an XU4 with a few less connectors, but also comes with a case. I am curious, it doesn't look to come with a fan, so I wonder if heat would be an issue.

The MC-1 is the disk-less version (no SATA) that will be released in Sept., it has a fan. I manage to get an engineering sample and have been running for a couple of weeks. Much better cooling than the original XU4 in my opinion. The fan is 80mm 5v and runs off a USB, very quiet. I believe I read they will be sold in a set of 4 as shown for $200. There is supposed to be a single brick power supply to run all of them but I have not seen it yet.

That sounds exactly like what I am looking for - especially if it comes with a single power adapter for all of them. Thanks for the input!
