Hi guys,

I am new miner and I am using several Linux machines. I was wondering which is the best tool to use?
poolinat0r are giving examples with cpuminer-opt and ocminer/cpuminer-verium.
Here in the forum I can see people mining with https://github.com/effectsToCause/veriumMiner

So please, give me advice! I've already tested those, but it seems to me they are giving me the same results? Which is the newest one and which should I use (maybe there is something that I am missing)?

Thank you!

the preferred miner for Verium on Linux is EffectsToCause.

it has bee modified to only mine Verium.

Ok, and are there and options for best optimizations that I can use?
Is it ok to use all my CPU threads for example or I have to use "nproc" -1 threads or for example (as it is done when mining monero) I must see how much cache I have on the CPU and mine with so many threads, so that every thread has at least 2 MB cache for it?
Or something similar to those? Or I just start it with the defaults?
(I am asking as I have Intel Core i7 6700 CPU and it seems strange to me that it makes only around 11 Kh/s when another CPU that I have - Core i3 3220 uses the same miner and the same pool and makes from 16 to 20 Kh/s - this seems very strange to me)

you can set threads with the -t flag.
verium mining is RAM speed dependent, it can make quite a big difference in hash rate.

for more info join the slack verium -mining thread

lots of good help there.
