Mac OSX client "Verium Vault" unstable when mining multiple clients

I switch from pool mining to solo mining over the weekend (with some great results, got 3 blocks in 2 days), with four servers each with around 4000 h/m using RPC to my iMac which is running the VeriumVault Wallet (3.5ghz i7 16Gb ram) but after around 18 hours Verium Vault crashes, usually while I'm...

Re: shapeshift.io sort of missing funds

Hey

If this helps explorer.vericoin.info is wrong. It shows my wallet at 0 too but chainz shows the correct amount.

Its not an answer but its not misleading information like explorer :)

Re: Maximum hash rate on CPU

I'm using windows 7, because its free :) I can use AID64 for temperatures and watch Task Manager for preformance. I use a single ssd and bypass raid controllers wherever I can, rule of thumb is less componets used, less that can fail. 2 x L5630 = 35h/s 2 x x5650 = 61h/s 1 x Opteron 6212 = 22h/s 1 x ...

Re: Buying Vericoin in $ or £?

I have yet to find a simple exchange that does cash for VRC, but I found a method that works. I use https://quickbt.com/ca/ to quickly buy ETH then I use https://shapeshift.io/ to make the trade from ETH to VRC. You could use bitcoin but I find its a much more volatile currency and don't like holdin...

Re: New to mining

Welcome BinaryMiner, The wallet miner is a 32bit unoptimized miner, meaning it won't take advantage of some of todays CPU enhancements. Additionally, solo mining is like playing the lotto, you have a ticket but it doesn't mean you will win. If your looking for a consistent income, I would suggest po...

Re: Maximum hash rate on CPU

That spreadsheet is pointless, its a combination of cpuminer and wallet mining results. It also doesn't take into account the difficulty increases over the past few months. A great example is the XU4, its absolutely useless today for mining. You're wasting your time and money investing in SBC for ve...

Re: Verium Mining Pool

Solo mining is much like playing the lotto, you may have a ticket but it doesn't mean you will win. I personally own an iMac and MacBook Pro and I won't subject it to the stress and heat caused by mining Verium, but if you want to give it a try, the follow link may help. https://archive.forums.veric...

Re: decentralized system

I have to totally agree with you on this one, they have made Verium GPU and ASCI resistant but they failed to create resistance against centralized pool but then again would you want to cap yourselves at the knees? Hash power allows for more transaction per minute which will allow more transaction o...

Re: Multiple instances

Hi Strovu, you can modify a file for the wallet to allow it to accept incoming connections from another miner. you need to find "verium.conf" file and add the following lines server=1 listen=1 rpcuser=username rpcpassword=secret rpcallowip=192.168.123.* rpcallowip=localhost rpcallowip should match y...

Re: VeriumMiner - Windows

Hi Funkjamin, I wish you best of luck, my first hour running the wallet for the first time ever mining crypto mining earlier this week I hit a block. I felt like I hit the jackpot, I've been temped to go back to playing the luck game BUT, I'm not in it for the quick rich plan like most, I see the lo...
